Catching Up...

We haven't had a chance to post in a while. It seems we have been busy every spare minute! B's new job has taken away some of his blog time so I will try to keep up! As the pictures show, we had a great time celebrating W's 6th birthday last month. My mom didn't want much attention for hers (they have the same bday) as she turned the big 50. I think she loves the fact that W has stolen most of the attention from her "celebrations" for the past 6 years!

We started school full swing on July 30th. W is a first grader and K a preschooler. We have had alot of fun and passed a lot of the time that has been too hot to go outside. Our first family field trip of the year will conclude our science study of marine life as we travel to Atlanta to visit the aquarium next weekend. We will also catch a Braves game where W is looking forward to running the bases on a major league ball field.

W is as much a sports fan as ever. He is looking forward to playing Upward Flag Football in the fall. His baseball card collection has consumed many hours of his time lately. He almost has the entire Auburn football schedule committed to memory. You will see in the pictures from Fan Day that he thoroughly enjoyed his first visit to the Plain. He is very excited about being promoted to the First Grade class at church and is looking forward to Celebration Kids (choir) starting up soon. And how could I forget ..... I am not sure who loves the new Game Cube more - W or B?

K had a good time at Fan Day as well. She really loved the attention that the cheer leaders gave her as she go all of their autographs. She is looking forward to her debut dance class after Labor Day. She doesn't go far without her new best pal- Kayla Cha Cha - her Webkinz dog. She loves to play dress up every chance she gets and spends most of her days at home clomping around in high heels. She will get dressed up and come to show off saying "I am so fashion!".

We hope that all of you who read this are doing well! We hope you enjoy the pictures!
